John and Helen were invited down to the beautiful village of Charlbury to Surprise Charlie for his 40th Birthday party, little did he know when he was teaching us how to make the perfect G and T for his guests, That later they were going to burst into song, surprising not only himself but his Family and Friends to!! Great fun was had by all, including the Divas. XX
The following day Helen and Alex wound their way through the beautiful countryside of Clitheroe to The Inn at Whitewell!! What a fantastic venue!! Huge Congratulations to Charlotte and Andrew!! We hope you had as much fun as we did!! XX Thank you to John Brandwood for the the recommendation!! XX

Well, Another first!! Thank you to the Teachers at ‘Priestnall High School’ for asking us to entertain the Students at their end of year prom!!,We hope they enjoyed it as much as we did, Thanks to Claire Henderson for joining me and being a ‘Diva’ for the night you were as Talented and enthusiastic as ever!! Well that was a first!! Last night I got to perform with the ‘Poynton Brass Band’ for the Closing of the Poynton show!! It was fantastic to be accompanied by 30 Brass Instruments, very powerful not to mention being backed by a great crowd of thousands joining in with the Famous Pomp and circumstance, They also made me feel very welcome Chanting My Name ‘Come on England’ ‘Come on England’, with all the chants and flag waving you would have thought England were playing an important match somewhere!! 2 of the singing Divas Georgia Holland and Helen England entertained at the RRG’s 1st ever ‘Red Ribbon Ball’, Thank you to Ann of ‘RRG’ for asking us to be a part of the evening and Darren Proctor (Key 103) for being a great MC and introducing us!! We weren’t in disguise last night!! Just out and out Divas, Lots of money was being raised at the auction as we left!! I’m sure after all their success last night, its going to be an annual event for RRG!! XX
The Divas have been up to their old tricks again!! Surprising and bringing fun to a 70’s themed, wedding anniversary Garden party in Styal!! Yes in Styal!! Huge Congratulations to Steve and Julie and thank you for inviting us to Entertain your Fun loving Guests, Ben Brierley joined the team yesterday, he was just perfect for the 70’s theme as Ben is a fellow Screaming beaver (11 piece soul band), and specialises in 70’s soul, music, sweet soul music!! Great fun was had by all! Then we were off to Bollington to entertain 600 screaming beavers fans under the Big top festival tent!! Life’s just great when your a Diva Beaver!! XX
The Bollington Movie – Two Plans, Two Sisters And A Parade
…is a movie filmed in Bollington, Cheshire, featuring the local community. A fun and exciting way of involving people of all ages. The first ever showing of the long-awaited full-length feature film written, filmed and acted in Bollington, by Bollingtonians.
NOW OUT ! The “official” world premiere of the Bollington Movie – a razzmatazz black tie event. Strut the red carpet, then enjoy some bubbly and mingle with our stars.
Community opera rehearsals got under way 10th February 2012. Scriptwriter for the. Bollington Movie announced 30th January 2012.
On Sunday the traffic was stopped and hundreds of people turned up at 7.00am for the filming of the final scene of the Bollington Movie.
The movie premier night was a wonderful event – and enjoyed by all. It was great to have the additional ‘awards ceremony’ at the end of the film showing – cunningly crafted by Steve Bridgehouse But we all felt that we needed to do something to show our gratitude to James, Amanda & Debra for taking so many of us on this fun and memorable journey.
The team from the Bollington Movie also took part. The parade led from the Poachers Inn to the Atax field near Bollington Leisure Centre before an afternoon for all the family on the field.
